Dennis H. Goehring
Former Executive Director, Bryan Business Council
Mr. Dennis Goehring currently serves as the executive director of the Bryan Business Council, where his duties include bringing investment to the Bryan area and fostering economic development in the community. He has extensive experience in economic development, having served as an organizer and president of the College Station Economic Development Foundation (1980 - 1990), a president of College Station Development Corporation (1980 - present), a director of the Texas Industrial Development Council, and a president and chairman of the board of Bank of A&M (1966 - 1980).

Mr. Goehring’s professional history also includes experience as the owner of Texas Coin Phone (1986 - 1996), executive vice president of Community Savings and Loan (1961 - 1966), director for Engineering Components Inc., campaign treasurer for Senator Phil Gramm, and financier of Carrabba Park, the only privately owned industrial park in the Bryan community. He has served as director of numerous hospitals and country clubs.

Mr. Goehring was a captain in the United States Air Force and flew as a pilot for the B57’s Strategic Air Command from 1959 - 1961, and he served in the USAF Reserves from 1961 - 1966. Mr. Goehring holds a B.S. (1958) in petroleum, geology, and business from Texas A&M University and has studied in the Southern Methodist University’s School of Banking and the Texas A&M University’s Basic Industrial Development School.
