How to #ThankATeacher during Teacher Appreciation Week

May 5, 2014

We are so excited to celebrate all of our hard working teachers this week for National Teacher Appreciation Week. We appreciate all of our teachers for their energy and dedication to student learning year-round. Every day, teachers ensure that America’s future CEOs, firefighters, doctors, nurses, accountants, computer scientists, and teachers are ready to conquer the world.

Growing class sizes, difficult standards, shrinking budgets– teachers face a lot of pressure and deserve our support. Here are a few ways to thank your child’s teacher this week:

  1. Volunteer. It’s not too late to sign up for that end-of-year party or graduation ceremony.
  2. #ThankATeacher. Tweet and post a message of gratitude to your teacher. Even if you’re not in the same social media circles, a show of thankfulness to teachers reminds others to show some appreciation to teachers.
  3. Write a thank you note. A simple, heartfelt message goes a long way. Check out our other gift ideas too!

From all of us at Reasoning Mind to everyone who works with our students, THANK YOU!

Keep our blog bookmarked all week for more #ThankATeacher posts and a few profiles of some of our favorite teachers. Follow us on Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest to let us know what you are doing this week to celebrate teachers.
