George Khachatryan, Ph.D.
Co-founder, Reasoning Mind
George Khachatryan is a co-founder of Reasoning Mind, having first volunteered as a high school student in 2000.  George developed curriculum content, recruited volunteer translators and editors, and wrote informational materials. The summer after completing high school, he worked on the development of the main concepts behind Reasoning Mind’s Genie system. George worked and volunteered for Reasoning Mind throughout college and graduate school. From 2011 to 2015, George joined the organization full-time, leading the design of the behavior of Reasoning Mind’s software and curriculum and serving as Senior Vice President of Expansion Operations.

He holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Chicago, a master’s from the University of Cambridge, and a doctorate from Cornell University, all in pure mathematics. His awards include the College Honors Scholarship (an academic merit scholarship to the University of Chicago) and the NSF Graduate Research Fellowship.

George is married. He and his wife enjoy travel and literature.
