The Basics of Enrolling
What happens when a school enrolls in RM?
When a school enrolls, the schools administrators and teachers are trained to implement RM. In an RM math classroom, each child works at a computer, while the teacher controls the learning process and works with students one-on-one.
What grade levels does RM include?
RMs current curricula are intended for students in grades 2-7.
What are the benefits of enrolling?
Children in RM classrooms do better academically, as shown by numerous test results. Furthermore, surveys show that RM helps teachers get their children excited about math.
Most importantly, RM students study by an extremely rigorous curriculum that prepares them for success in future math classes. This is the main reason schools enroll in RM.
What types of students benefit from RM?
A very wide variety of students have benefitted from RM. Because of the individual path and pace of learning, remarkable results have been seen with both special needs children and gifted children.
Schools that have successfully implemented RM include disadvantaged community schools, high-performing public schools, and private schools.
